Just remove the factory front fender flares and assemble the steel fender flares with supplied bolts. Hooke Road Front Fender Flares Installation Guide Step 1: Remove the factory front fender flares and inner fender liners. Make sure the area is clean and ready for the new fender flares to be installed. Step 2: Lift up the front fender flares and align the mounting holes with those on the vehicle's body. Install the front fender flares with the M8*20 button head socket cap bolts screws, M8*20*1.5 flat washer, and M8 flange hex lock nuts. Use a socket wrench and socket extension to tighten all bolts securely, but be careful not to overtighten and strip the threads. Step 3: Find the factory fender flares light wiring harness. Different models may have different wiring harness colors, but the following wiring methods are generally the same. Connect the wiring harness as follows: Negative electrode (black wire) to factory black wireDRL wire (red wire) to factory white green wireTurn lamp (yellow wire) to factory white yellow wire. If your fender flares light can be used normally, a load resistor may not be necessary. However, if you notice any hyper flashing or other issues, you may need to install the load resistor in series with the Turn Lamp (Yellow Wire). Step 4: Fix the connected harness with wire clips, double-sided tape, and cable zip ties. Route the wires neatly and securely, making sure they won't get caught on anything when driving. Step 5: Recover the factory or modified inner fender liners. Make sure they are properly secured and won't interfere with the new fender flares. Your new fender flares should now be securely installed and ready for use. Make sure to test the lights and check for any issues before driving.
